The Dark Hedges

The Dark Hedges was made globally famous as the “Kings Road” in the hit HBO tv series The Game of Thrones. The Dark Hedges is a tree-lined avenue which was planted in the 1800’s by the Stewart family who lived in the mansion Grace House which is at one end of the road.
This image was captured in the early hours of the morning when a group of my photographer friends visited and used artificial light to light up the under side of the beech trees with photo lights and torches.
